The new teaser hints that the OnePlus 6 has seen some changes in terms of design and placement of keys. The left side looks holding the SIM tray while the handset seems to sport metal and glass combo.

OnePlus has been dropping teasers and hinting at new changes made in design for its upcoming OnePlus 6. The latest in the series in an image that was dropped late on Wednesday and shows one of the sides of the OnePlus 6. The new official teaser confirms that the alert slider which was teased earlier as well has been finally moved to the other side of the handset. The new teaser also hints that the OnePlus 6 has seen some changes in terms of design and placement of keys. The left side looks holding the SIM tray.

The new teaser was shared on social media by OnePlus official Twitter handle and initially gave an impression that it might look same as OnePlus 5T. However, after some point people realised that the OnePlus 6 was actually beneath the OnePlus 5T which gave a fair idea what were the things that were changed. In new teased image, we can see a OnePlus 5T placed right on top of the upcoming OnePlus 6. It might be that the company wants up to compare both the smartphones from the sides, as the side profile of the upcoming flagship is the only thing that is visible. The image shows antenna bands of the OnePlus 6 might be less prominent than that of its predecessor and the alert slider has disappeared from this side which means that apart from adding the ‘shift to focus’ feature to the slider, the company might have shifted the alert slider elsewhere. It has been replaced by the SIM tray.
The OnePlus 6 has turned out to be one of the most anticipated launches of the year and apart from some leaks, the company itself has left no stone unturned in order to create a huge hype around the flagship smartphone. With a series of tweets, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been teasing some of the important features of the upcoming OnePlus 6.

While the image still doesn't confirm whether the OnePlus 6 will come with a fingerprint scanner, it does hints towards an all-glass back, which has become a norm in flagships these days. On the other hand, we already know that the OnePlus 6 will come with a notched screen, as confirmed by the company itself and if we combine all of that into a final design, the next OnePlus will indeed a gorgeous device with hard-core internals under-the-hood and premium built to cover all that up. The smartphone is also expected to come with Facial recognition hardware.
